For some reason when I am using my Cintiq 22 the strokes in my illustrator doc appear thicker than they should. When I export the lines apear as they should.
When I change my Cintiq display settings to optimise for my Mac book the stroke width in Illustrator goes back to normal.
has anyone else had this problem?
thanks

Which tools do you use for drawing? The brush tool? In that case a brush is applied and pressure might set the width and make it thicker. Did you compare this and check in the Appearance panel?

And the stroke is thicker than a stroke when you draw with the mouse?
Can you please show both objects together with the Appearance panel?

Basically the lines I see in Ai are not the true width as what they should be. When I export the image I can then only see the true width of my strokes.
I think that Ai is not reacting with my Cintiq properly, when I switch my mirror screen mode to optimise for Mac the lines in my document show as they should again.
I used to also have this problem when GPUwas turned on. I have to have it turned off now.
I'll provide an image when I get time.
thanks
