stuck opening new document

While doing design and i had to make another new artboard. I open the new documents and it just stuck there. I can move around and the mouse pointer seems to work, basically it just wont let me make a new document. Can anybody help?

Try first if restarting your machine helps.

If not, try resetting prefs:
