Hi there
I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2023 on Windows 11, and I'm exporting several SVG files using Assest Export to do that.
When I want ot change the location of the files using copy or cut oreder it says "The action can't be completed becacause the folder or a file in it is open in another program" and it toke alot so I can change the direction of the file. I tried close the Illustrator + close all the folder and programes that are open and the Bug seems to have time period I have to wait for ore restart my device
Is there any thing I can do to provent this bug from happening?

Where are you trying to save the files? On your harddisk? On a server?

On my hard-disk, turns out that I can change the file location or etc. of the SVGs when I close the Illustrator and wait couple of minutes, but this a big issue since time is important.

Do you have previews turned on in the Windows Explorer?

What do you mean exactly by "Previews", a SVG file don't have a preview on my Windows explorer just shows the icon of the program I use to open it like Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome

Something on your system seems to access the files in a way that the system considers this "opening" the files. Illustrator does not like that. You have to search what that is. And having a file preview active in Explorer seems to be one of the things that does this.

Hello @Hasan Ghanem,
Thanks for reaching out. As suggested by Monika, it is possible that a different program is trying to access the file when you are trying to open it in Illustrator. To try and check if that is the case, would you mind trying to run Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and let us know if it helps?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Anubhav

Hi there!
Sorry for the late reply.
I just tried it, and it worked. I ran the "safe mode" to create an SVG file using Illustrator and tried to rename, copy, and paste it. It works just fine.
I also noticed that the same issue occurs when I save files from Photoshop using the "Save for Web" action. So, even if I close Photoshop, I cannot do anything with the exported files. To resolve this, I ran the Task Manager and searched for "Adobe," and I found a couple of tasks. Once I closed all of them, I was able to change the properties of the exported files and their placement.
The tasks are: (I will include a screenshot of the tasks/programs.)
1. Creative Cloud Libraries Synchronizer.
2. Creative Cloud Content Manager.
3. Creative Content Synchronizer (32-bit).
4. Adobe Crash Reporter Service (32-bit).
5. Creative Content Interprocess Service (32-bit).
That's all for now.
Thanks for helping.
