Can anyone tell me why my swatches in Illustrator are doing this to the Jersey I am applying the swatch to? The default swatches don't do this. I have changed the artboard size and tried to make it vertical, square and Horizontal. Not sure what is happening.

What are the Red 3 swatches a repeating pattern? Did you create that or someone else?
It might be set to repeat with space between. Double click on the swatch to edit if it is a pattern, then adjust the width & height.
Or drag it to the desktop to edit, then drag it back after you fix.

This sir, This actually worked for me! Thank you very much! I spent all day trying to figure this out. Wish I had checked the thread sooner. Thanks so much! No white line!!! Now, I need to learn how to make the design flow a little more without looking like its colored paper sewen together..

It looks like you added pattern swatches instead of a gradient. You may have dragged a filled objet to the Swatches panel instead of using the + sign.

Wasn't notified of responses. I am taking an eps file and adding it to illustrator. Then Taking the eps and dragging to the Swatch box to the right. once in the swatch box I double click the icon for the newly made swatch. Then I edit it to 1x1 and fill to fit the tile. Then I click the jersey I am trying to fill and now I am getting a white line. When I remove a compound object which is the vast majority of the design the line goes away.

adding it to Illustrator? You are opening it in Illustrator?
And then dragging the contained object into the swatches panel?
Do you know how to properly make swatches and how they need to be set up? You will probably need to learn a bit about that in order to prepare those patterns.
Please show us screenshots or even better upload your AI file with the pattern to Dropbox or the like and post a link in here.

You are very right sir, I have alot to learn. I will share a link to my server so you can see my file. I have figured out the file but I will share my file and swatch with you. I also realized that I was doing pixel and not inch. That made alot of difference as well. Thank you kindly sir.

Are you sure you want to use a pattern instead of a color/gradient swatch?
