Text on a path

Hi there, 
Since the latest Illustrator's update I've been trying to find out how to manipulate text on a path, but cannot find it. I was used to see the lines that helped me move the text around the path but now I don't see them anymore. 

Can someone help me out?

Can you choose "Show Edges" in the View menu?
