When I'm resizing small documents into larger ones, I am running into a problem where the text size is changing as I put in the new typeface size. For example, if I have an 8pt font size and want to change it to 200, when I enter two, it changes before I can enter the following zeroes, it it changes again when I enter the next digit. So illustrator is making me change the font from 8pt, to 2pt, to 20pt, and finally to 200pt. This is a huge problem when working with larger files and text effects. Please someone tell me how to turn this feature off....
That is strange...... I have to see if mine is doing it. I have not heard of this issue.... but since my mom is visiting me in Germany, I have not used Illustrator in a month. I will investigate this too!
Perhaps this behaviour was introduced as a well-meant preview improvement in Illustrator CC 2018. Or maybe it is just a bug.
A workaround to get the usual behaviour is to use the brand-new Properties palette to change the font sizes. It works as you expect it to work.
That will work! Thanks all and thanks for your recommendation Kurt. The properties palette does the trick!
Or paste 200.
Sometimes I seriously sit and stare of into space wondering how these guys come up with [removed by moderator] when they're working new versions...
The text will not show on Adobe Illistrature do you know what is wrong with it
