Thai Language missing Characters

We are working on a Thai Language item and for some reason, some of the character are lost when 'copy-paste' the text frok the word doc.
Any idea what should we do?

Are you applying the same font in Illustrator?

No. The word doc uses Arial and the illustrator doc uses Prompt, which is what we usually use for east Asian Languages.

What happens when you use the same font? Or any other Thai lnguage font?
