The corners of triangles get rounder or sharpers with resizing

left is scaled down, right is at the size i created the orange slices in

 

i've tried expanding the triangles, but they keep rounding out and becoming more teardrop shaped as i scale the orange slices down. i'm not sure what to try next. i've never had this problem before so i'm also not ruling out that i accidentally did something in the creation process to get here, haha.

In the Transform palette, there is an option called "Scale Corners" (if you don't see it you'd have to turn on "Show Options" in the Transform palette flyout menu). I think you want to turn on the "Scale Corners" option.
