Is it normal that my IPad illustrator doesn't have any art or calligraphic brushes in tool, just pencil and blob brush. Do I need to download art brushes myself to library ? I thought they will be some default art  brushes , like on desktop version. Please advise . Thanks

That looks like an old version. Can you check if there are updates available?
