When I transfer the art that I have created on my iPad to my MacBook it does not transfer properly and I cannot edit each layer that I've put onto the document. somehow everything connects with the background layer which makes it impossible to adjust anything that I've done. it says that my Illustrator is an older version on my laptop but I've done every update that has been offered and I don't know how to fix this problem.
