Hello,
Is there a technique/tool(s) to transform a curve into an angle and I can define the number of angles?

Thanks!

You may try Object menu > Path > Simplify, choose the "Convert into Straight Lines" option and play with the other settings.

THVI,

Or, for equal lengths of the curved path, you can use the Divide script in this free set of scripts by 佐藤浩之 (Satō Hiroyuki), setting the number of lengths to one more than the desired number of angles.

and then apply the Convert Anchor Point Tool to all the Anchor Points.

The lengths of the straight segments will vary (very slightly/unnoticeably) with the curvature.

Hi Kurt.

It does work, but of course you need some more anchor points.

It's weird in my right example, I added 2 points... but maybe the shape of the object is not closed.

Thanks!
