Transform!??

Hi, what on earth is going on with Transform, what's the new way to transform an item or adjust a text box please?

What do you think has changed? What have you tried that isn't working?

Ctrl + T for transforming anything, using the type tool to resize a text box (think that's what I used to do, just did it!)
Transparency and layers also not working right for me.
I may have an update to do, I will try that.

Ctr (or Cmd) T will get you the Character panel.

In Photoshop it will give you Transform. Photoshop also allows you to transform text areas with the text tool.

Are you confusing Illustrator shortcuts with Photoshop?

Ctrl + T has been the default shortcut for the Character palette for as long as I can remember. Are you sure you're not thinking of Photoshop?

I might be getting confused, Ive been using PS more often recently!

My old way of transforming in AI is still not there though, if I clicked on a square for instance, it had handles, now it doesnt.
