So i am trying to create a new brush but the option to save it is grayed out and when I try to drag and drop it doesn't do a thing. I don't know what to do or if there is anyother way to save a new brush.

What is the content of the brush you are trying to create? Did you already try to restart Illustrator or your computer? If that does not help, try resetting Preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html

I'm quite new on illustrator, i was following a youtube video on how to create basic brushes strokes. Already tried to reset computer and illustrator, i will try to reset preferences but i haven't played in it yet so i doubt it would make a difference. I will still try it
