Unable to edit on Illustraor

Hi guys, please help! The whole artboard is white (usually its only white within the dimensions of your artboard) and there's this green looking grid that i cant seem to remove (as seen in the picture) I also cant seem to edit (like adding a text, using pen tool, etc)! 😞

Safe areas can be turned off in the view menu. For everything else check your hardware acceleration preferences and upodate your system's graphics driver.

Try to create a new document based on a Art & Illustration or Print preset. Your current document is based on a Film & Video preset.
