Unable to resize objects

 Hi, I have a constant problem with resizing images. The problem occurred out of the blue. I'm unable to grab objects and resize them in Adobe Illustrator. That's the image I get next to the cursor. I sometimes get the message that the file contains items linked to my local assets and that the problem will disappear when the file is opened on another computer. Did anyone here get the same problem? Best, Anna
