Unable to save files on Illustrator 2020 and unable to launch Illustrator 2021

Hello! I'm on a Mac OS running Big Sur.

I keep trying to save my Adobe Illustrator 2020 file but it crashes when I save a file. Can anyone help? This has been happening for weeks now despite any other Adobe forum/troubleshooting attempts. I still can't open Illustrator 2021 because it never loads, so this is literally all I have to use. It primarily happens when I try to save or the program auto-saves.

Hi there, 

Sorry about the crashing! I know that's really frustrating.  When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates or web extensions installed recently. Where are the files saved (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System /External HDD)?

This started happening a little after I updated to Big Sur for my IMac. I'll give that a shot and report back. Thank you Srishti!
