Unable to Save work, error message - "Adobe PDF File format is having diffculties. Bad parameter"

Please help! Project only has 4 simple artboards and I can't save as AI or PDF

Seems to be a known issue. Go back to previous version.

Nope, Windows, I'm unable to go back without losing all my work.
Thanks for the old thread, the one Windows user said it still didn't work for him regardless.

Did you try to save as .ai without PDF compatibility?

If you save the file without PDF, you should be able to open and save it with PDF in the 2022 version (26.5.2)

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately these didn't work, I tried it already in fact, however the workaround was to save as EPS. Not ideal but only that vector format worked.

Check if you can update to the latest version, v27.4, which is currently being rolled out in phases and should solve the problem.
