update issue with moving objects

After the last update, when I try to move an object it makes a ding sound and you see a green + near the cursor as if I'm trying to drop it into something but I'm just trying to move it on the pasteboard kindly fix my issue if you need any help here is link

Sorry to hear about this experience. This was an issue with older versions which has now been fixed. I would request you try updating Illustrator to the latest version (26.5) and check if it helps.
