I tried to open the program while it was updating and my poor computer thought it had gone missing from the hard drive entirely! I had no idea this was going on and thought the connections were broken and spent too long trying to re-assign the file aliases. Turns out I was just out of the loop while it was updating. Why would a adobe let their own software be so ambiguous to the people using it? All I needed to know was that it was updating through some kind of creative cloud notification or better yet why not just let me use the program while it updated in the background? Hopefully this kind of confusing ambiguity can be avoided in future updates.
