So I've a metallic swatch library in Illustrator that Ive used to create a document with... I need to create another document but in Indesign using the same swatches...Yesterday I created several boxes using the rectangle tool and applied the various metallic fills from the swatch library that I needed to use in the Indesign document. I then copied and pasted the boxes from Illustrator into InDesign and voila! I had copied the metallic swatches into the InDesign swatch library...

I've tried to do this again this morning with some more graidents that I need to use, but now the boxes that get pasted into ID are layered coloured images and not gradients?

What on earth has changed overnight??? Or what am I now doing wrong?

Well, I hate to say it was that simple...but yes! Thats corrected it...
Not sure how the document changed from CMYK to RBG from yesterday? I didn't think to look as it worked...
