Hey there!
I am looking to turn vector logos 3D via Illustrator, then bringing that into Photoshop and using the Vanishing Point filter to make the perspective look like the logo is a 3D sign on the building.
this would be for mock-ups to show to my clients on what they logo and branding could look like as signage.
does anyone have any links to tutorials that could help with this? I am just concerned with getting the perspective correct along with the angles of the 3D logo.
Thanks!

You could check out Adobe Dimension for that. Create the 3D in Illustrator, import that into Dimension, pick up the perspective from a photo automatically.
