(Very damaged .ai file) The file ".ai" is an unknown format and cannot be opened

I accidentally deleted my files from the wrong disk while formatting for an OS install. I recovered my files with a recovery tool but when I open the .ai files, this is the error message it shows. I opened it with a Notepad++ and the codebase is scrambled gibberish.  I use windows 10 and have the 2018 Illustrator. I tried the Indesign import method, I tried the Acrobat method, and I tried online repair services. No luck thusfar.

Hi files are courrpted i think its not possible to now work for them...regards
