View not switching to other document when dragging objects

Hello,

last months I have issue with dragging objects between two documents. If I drag object from one document to another it wont switch view to document where I want to drag object. Any help?

Thanks for reaching out. Could you confirm the exact version of the OS/Illustrator installed, along with a small screen recording of your exact workflow and the problem, so we can better assist you?

Additionally, try resetting Illustrator's preferences as described in this article (https://adobe.ly/48V8sL9) and see if it helps.


Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned above.

Hello Anubhav,

reseting preferences did not help. In basic I can drag object from one document to another, but only the problem is for me, it doesnt switch view to document where I want to drag object. I use latest version, but this problem was in previous versions too.
