I removed all my clipping masks by releasesing them but I still get "Clipping will be lost on round trip to Tiny" There is no clipping in any of the visible layers. All the other layers are locked when exporting to SVG.

Hi @Syeds,

We are sorry for the trouble. This is a known issue with the Ai 26.2.1. We have logged a bug with the product team, and they are working on a fix. In the meantime, you may try saving the SVG using the "Save as" option; go to the files menu > Save As > SVG.

I hope it helps!

Regards,

Anshul Saini

What is your workflow?

This message is about roundtripping, which means that you export the SVGtiny, then use it somewhere else and then open the SVG again in Illustrator.

Generally re-opening SVGs in Illustrator is not a very good idea. It's better to always work from the AI file.

I am creating in Illusrtator and exporting to SVG. IN the browser it looks loog but I want to make I am not the only person seeing it properly. I usually import the SVGs into XD and for developers to look at how it should be implemented. When importing into an XD layout the SVG is losing the clipped items in the Illustrator layout. In my experience isf the SVG imports in to the XD layout properly it works elsewhere for others.
