What application does this? Can it be done in Illustrator?

Hi Everyone,

I want to expand my knowledge in Illustrator. Right now I'd say I'm an advanced beginner. I know Ps well. I'd love to make 3d images like this one and would prefer to stick with Illustrator. Can it be done or would you recommend I learn another application?

Most of the objects will work. The rocket can be built, but the shadows on the "wings" or whatever you would call that in English) might get a little difficult.

The landscape is not possible as 3D, you will have to build that elsewhere and import is as pixels or you have to fake it using meshes or the like.

When you build this in  Illustrator, it's not a 3D world, but all the objects will live in their own 3D space.

If you have a full Cloud subscription, you might want to take a look at Adobe Dimension. It's really easy to use. You could build the base geometry in Illustrator, export as OBJ and then import in Dimesion to arrange your 3D world.
