When I pull a text box the resizable feature is missing

Monterey 12.6.3
Illustrator 28.1

I use this feature all the time and it's just missing. When I pull a text box using the type tool, it no longer has the 'resizeable text box' features. It's just a regular box. Did they change this? Is there a setting I may have unchecked/checked?

This one is killing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been able to use the white arrow as a workaround, but I'm missing the center handle.... Did they change this tool? What am I missing....

SOLVED - View / Show Bonding Box was hidden.
Would be nice to have these features in PROPERTIES or by double clicking the tool so we don't have to hunt and peck.
