There are many references to scripting for Adobe Illustrator in a ‘console’.
Where do I find the ‘console’ on a Mac?
Plus, when this mysterious console has been found I guess I need to know how to link between the console and Illustrator.
I have downloaded the Adobe Illustrator 2025 SDK from <https://developer.adobe.com/console/1891023/home
I have xcode.
It may be referring to the ExtendScript ToolKit. It used to be a separate app, but as far as I know was deprecated in favour of a VSCode plugin some years ago.

Unless I have my wires crossed, the site you linked to is the console.

Well, you are right. The page does say: “Welcome to the Adobe Developer Console”, but I am looking for the console that you can write to:
console.log( ‘Hello World );
This would be the same console that I can write Javascript in and when run it will do something in Illustrator.
