Why do my saved pdf all have a duplicate n

 ame but only 4k that I can't open or do anything with. So anoying never had this happen on a mac but now on pc i don't know what the problem is.

Every pdf I save out of adobe illustrator gives me a duplicate fike that I can't open and they are only 4k.

It is a Mac problem. Do a search for ._ or dot underscore files for more info.

Removed previous post about them being Windows lock/temp files. @Ton Frederiks is correct.

Wait. No, those are from a Mac. Sorry! I go back and forth all the time, and I forget which lock/temp file each OS makes. Anyway, they are harmless lock/temp files.
