This seems to be a problem for me across all Adobe products. Based on my research, my computer meets or exceeds the requirements for running any Adobe product. Yet, the programs struggle just to do simple things. It lags when I'm zooming in and out, it glitches out when I'm trying to type or delete text. Just now, I was typing and nothing was showing up. I closed out and went back in, and there the text was.
It is absolutely maddening! I have three placed images in the current illustrator document I have open, and it's freaking out.
I am just trying to understand why this happens, and how I might be able to fix and prevent it from happening. Including computer and Illustrator specs below, if there's anything I missed please let me know and I'll come back and include it.

Thanks so much in advance. I know other people have posted a similar question, but starting a new post because my specs are different.

Hi Marley,
first of all, thank you for sharing right away the software version that specifications your computer.
Have you tried turning off graphic acceleration? Does the problem persist?

Thank you for your reply!
This is actually this first I've ever heard of this setting. Based on a quick web search, this is supposed to actually reduce latency if you have a supported graphics card, which I do. Would you still recommend turning it off to see if it helps?
