Why Offer Expired Betas?

Adobe, can you please help us keep our sanity. Why do you offer expired Betas in the Creative Cloud desktop app? Just yesterday I installed the Illustrator Beta, only to encounter the “Your Illustrator build has expired” prompt when opening the app.

 

It’s confusing. With Photoshop, you encourage the public to download and try the Photoshop Beta. You’d think that seeing the Illustrator Beta download button in Creative Cloud would foster confidence that like PS we, too, can experience the latest Ill beta but no deal :(. Ugh.

This is normal behavior. Whenever a new release is out, the Beta activations are invalidated and it takes a few weeks until a new build becomes available for the first .x update.
