Zoom in not working with shortcut in Illustrator / Photoshop

Hi guys,

I have a small issue with zoom in shortcut (ctrl + ) in Illustrator and Photoshop.

In the last 24 hrs I had to sign out and log in in Windows to have active the zoom in shortcut.

It happens randomly because it's working until ...is not. Even if I close and restart the applications or turn off and on my keyboard is still not working. Only the log off is fixing this annoying small issue.

Zoom out and all other shortcuts are working perfectly.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Thanks
Radu

Hello,

This problem just happened to me, and it turns out that what caused it was that my keyboard was set up in another language and not in English, which is my computer language. So, you need to switch the keyboard language, and you should be okay.

Try resetting Photoshop Preferences it may help:

Hold down the following keyboard shorcut and launch Photoshop:

macOS

  • command + option + shift

Windows

  • ctrl + alt + shift

Just happened again in PS and I tried to reset the preferences...is Zoom In is still not working.

I had the AI opened and the same issue in there and resetting preferences is not working.

Apparently, this zoom-in issue happens in both apps at the same time ...weird

Zoom In is working now after I signed out from Windows and log in back again.

Weird ...

Not a major issue but is annoying to do the sign off a few times per day.

Hi Srishti,

Apparently, it's all good, and I haven't got that issue in the last few weeks.

Not sure how it was fixed ...maybe an update from Adobe, not sure but its all good now.

In the meantime, I also upgraded my video card.

Thanks,

Radu
