Thanks for your help !

I can't open .eps files on my ipad. Do I have to open them on an application first?

Also, I can't copy and paste on Illustrator. For information I don't have a keyboard yet.

It might depend on the version you have.

Where is your EPS file? Did you put it into a Cloud folder that you can access from Illustrator on the iPad? e.g. your Creative Cloud folder?

In the Illustrator home screen is there an import and open button in the bottom left? If so, you can use it to open your EPS.

If you don't have that button, you will need to open the EPS file in Illustrator on the desktop and save it as an AIC (Illustrator Cloud file)

indeed I can import from the homepage my .eps file thanks.
But I can't insert an .eps file from a created document.

Well it's not very practical but it will do for now.

I can't even create masks because I can't copy an element to another layer.

I hope I'm clear enough since English is not my native language.

Thanks for your help 😊

What is your native tongue? In case it's german, just go ahead with it.

About the masks, please show screenshots that include the layers panel.

My language is French.
In fact I have found it!
I had to put my copied element inside another layer to be able to do the clipping.
Well anyway, thanks 🙂
