Can you build organic shapes and detect gaps in iPad illustrator app

Is there a gap detection option in the adobe illustrator app? I often use the shape builder tool on my desktop and play with the gap detection options. Trying to create organic shapes within my drawings that I can fill with gradients on the new illustrator app.

Sorry about the delay in response. I am afraid, that's not possible in the app at the moment. Would you mind taking out a minute and share it as a feature request here?
