Hi guys!

I made an icon and converted it to radial to have a play with the design. Now I can't get the radial selection removed and I want to be able to use it as an original icon and able to rotate it. (Attached screenshot of what it's doing, I just want it back to the basic select outline).

Serious newbie here, I don't know all the terms I should be using, please be gentle! 🙂

Thanks in advance 🙂

Coincidentally I had the exact same problem yesterday.

My solution was to double tap the source object to go into isolation mode and then copy the source object (in your case: the leaf - it's a leaf, right?). And then get out of isolation mode - if that doesn't happen automatically, just double tap somewhere else. And then paste the leaf.
