Just downloaded Illustrator on iPad Pro and it won’t even let me open the app.

Hello,

This morning I bought all apps for adobe, and I decided to download Illustrator first.

It finished downloading on my iPad Pro and it wouldn't open.

I'm really unsure what to do, I have restarted my iPad, cleared storage, deleted and reinstalled the app.

Does anyone else have this problem??

For most people that was the solution.

Your iPad meets the system requirements?

If that is the case, please try and contact Customer Care or wait for staff support here. They might need error logs and will tell you what to supply. You could also try and search this forum for similar threads, because this happened a few times recently. https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html

You can try a chat in that page (chat is in the bottom right), but New Year's eve is nearing, so I wouldn't have much hope for this being solved today.

Hello @ShadowedSky @Blanca27760839n96u,

Sorry to hear about this experience and for the delayed response. I hope the problem is resolved by now. If not, kindly share the crash report by following these steps:

  • Open iPad Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data. You will see file names like “adobe illustrator-2023-01-03-083327.ips” (2023-01-03 is the date in the log & 083327 is the time). Ensure you share the recent log file after the crash happens by looking at the timestamp.
  • Upload the file to (https://assets.adobe.com) and share a link to the file here or via DM

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav
