Unable to open the Illustrator for the iPad

Today I tried to open Illustrator on the iPad but the opening page kept winding. I couldn't even sign in to Adobe there, despite having received the link. I had requested a link in order to reinstall the app - sometimes this works. But I couldn't reinstall it either. All other Adobe iPad apps work well. Adobe desktop versions are also working fine. Please help. Specs: Macbook Pro-OS Monterey v12.4 and iPad Pro 2, v15.5. Thanks!

Hi Jane, yes, I did that and it worked. My confusion: sometimes when I'm working with the iPad I have a MBP mindset. When things are stuck, or there's a problem, I spontaneously tend to replicate what I do with the MacBook: get into the system, spot the app, uninstall, reinstall, test. The iPad, of course, works differently: what happens behind the scenes remains a mystery. But once I deleted the app, I could immediately install a newer version. Solved.

@Hello Amsterdam

I was going to say delete the app and reinstall from the App Store, then sign-in with your Adobe ID and PW.

How did you solve it?

Jane
