Copy and paste does not work in illustrator web. Additionally, if the function isnt there entirely, I'd like to be able to have two tabs open with differnet illustrator projects, and be able to copy and paste between them.

Copy and paste is supported in Illustrator Web, and it is possible to have two separate Illustrator project tabs open at the same time and to copy and paste between them. Could you share your system information and the browser you are using? Additionally, you might want to restart your browser and/or computer, and limit how many other tabs you have open at the same time. And please check to make sure all pop up blockers are turned off as this could prevent copying and pasting from working between open tabs.
If a layer group, must NOT have subgroups inside (for example: layer 9)
If a layer group, all contents must be 'paths' only (for example: layer 12 , in my screenshot below)
Click on a layer group in layers panel and press Control or Command +C
Open different illustrator web window
add a new blank layer
right-click anywhere in workspace and click Paste (does not work to right click in layer panel. does not work as it should have by pressing Control or Command + V)
