Hey all,
So I have a vectorized logo where there are lots of different things going on, like different stroke widths and then blocked out shapes, etc
However I want to convert everything into seperate path shapes based on what is visible, or a specific color...
Is this possible?
(For ex there are strokes but the visible stroke is thicker than the path itself cus of the thicker widthof the stroke feature
and I want illustrator to make a new shape based on the thicker width instead of the line itself)

You want to convert this to one single shape?
In that case: Select all, Outline stroke
Then in the Pathfinder panel click on "Merge"

Where is the Outline Stroke option?

Object > Path > Outline stroke.
When there are effects or brushes applied, you need to do Object > Expand appearance.

If you want to convert your stroke to paths, you can OUTLINE the stroke. ?
Maybe something here will help you too? -> Adobe Helpx page: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/painting-fills-strokes.html

Im just concerned if this method works when the strokes are mixed in with custom shapes made by connecting paths or made by subtracting shapes with pathfiner
Basically its like a huge conglomeration of all these methods

It would be helpful if you could show what your illustration looks like.

Thank you everyone, I have found the answer
It is Object> Expand/Expand Appearance.
