Hi all!

There is a new issue which is totally annoying.

I place images into my artwork and everything is fine untill i make changes to that images and save them. Usually Illustrator gives Replace/Ignore menu and i just replace it, but now it never being replaced. And after that i can't place any new or same image, i'm getting error-window about uncompatible format. So i have to quit Illustrator relaunch it and then i can place images again bat the issue stays.

What kind of changes?

And how (and what exactly) do you save?

Are these images linked or embed?

Please show something with visible Control Bar and Link Panel.

I have an Ai file with six beer labels.

Each of them has an image. Also i have a file (TIFF) opened in Photoshop which i'm updating while searching for a proper image. I save/replace that TIFF and while it placed into my Ai–file, and here issue begins. Illustrator don't want to update that file or even replace it, or even delete it it and place again.
