3D Extrude and Bevel issue

I've noticed in ver. 25.2.3 of Illustrator, that if I try to edit an already created bevel by clicking on '3D Extrude & Bevel' in the Appearance window, the Bevel: type reverts to 'None' by default when the '3D Extrude & Bevel Options' panel opens. If you don't notice, and complete your edits, and click OK, your bevel reverts to a flat shape. I've been able to recreate this bug on two different computers, so it's not a problem with either machine. Anyone else notice this happening? Very annoying.

Try and reset the preferences (rename the folder so you can revert). If that doesn't help, it's probably time for a bug report.
