Achieving special effects in Illustrator

Hi, I want to create this effect on objects for myself. how is the best way to acheieve this effect? Ideally I prefer to work in illustrator.

Draw the shapes and then color them.

Then scan some ink splashes, autotrace them, color them and scatter them all around.

This cannot be achieved by clicking a few buttons.
