I would like to create a quote into my design.

Basically, I just want to add a brief text into a design for patterns. I
think I have found the answer on YouTube. I have to click on the Text tool
and click/drag in my document and change the size and font

Have you actually tried it? Are you having a problem once you tried it? Can you post an image or be specific with the problem(s) that you are experiencing. It is rather hard to offer any help if we don't know what problem you are trying to solve.

Thank you for responding The answer I needed was related to putting text into my photo through Ai. I got the information I needed for now. I'm sure will be other questions.
