Adjusting only one Live Corner Widget without affecting other points on the shape?

When using a shape like a triangle and wanting to adjust only one of the Live Corner Widgets without affecting the other, how can this be done? Adjusting one widget affects all three points on the shape.

Hey

Select the point(s) you'd like to change with the Direct Selection Tool (Tap "A" on your keyboard to access it quickly) and then use the widget as desired.

I knew that much, when I was doing this yesterday it was affecting all three points on the shape. Perhaps I had all three anchor points selected?
