Adobe 2021 double click enabled

I am using the latest Illustrator 2021 version on a mac and having this issue where my double-click just did not work. 

It happened for isolation mode, double-clicking on a tool to show expanded menu, picking color for linear gradient from the color stop and more...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Please tell us which hardware you use and also the input devices attached.

Please tell us the exact steps to reproduce your issue.

If it's about the isolation mode, check if the double click for it is turned on in Preferences > General.

I'm using the macbook pro 2020 intel and its track pad.

The isolation double click has been turned on, but its still didn't work.

For the linear gradient command, when I double click at a color stop, the color swatch did not show up.

And for the pencil tool, when I double click on the pencil icon, the "pencil tool options" menu did not show up and I had to access it by tabbing "Return".

So I think that "double click" has some how been disabled on everything.

You will need to check your system settings.

Other than for the isolation mode there is no way to turn off the double click functionality in Illustrator.
