Go to the View menu and turn off snapping: Snap to Grid, Snap to Pixel… near the bottom. Looks like it's snapping to grid. You can set a grid of whatever size, if you want it, in the Preferences > Guides and Grid, and show/hide turn on/off snapping in the View menu.
