Adobe Illustrator: Shape and Transform measurements always change automatically to something random

Hi,

I'm having this issue since the last 2 CC updates and haven't found solution anywhere online for it.

Basically any time I make a shape for example 512 x 512mm square when I click enter the size of the shape keeps changing to something random like 513.024 x  513.024mm (sometimes second number can be different and not even the same). I suspect its something to do with rounding it to the closest pixel size etc, but its causing a lot of issues for me for projects that I need exact millimeter size for print/fabrication files.

When I go back into Shape height and width even if I try and change it back to 512mm repeatedly it still shifts measurements to different number and only rarely do I get it to stay at size I told the shape to be at.

Anyone had similar problem and got a solution how to fix this in latest Illustrator CC version?

Then uncheck it, because it causes this.

The issue has been solved already. It was "Use Preview bounds".

I have the very same issue. Found this thread and tried to uncheck the 'Use preview bounds' option, but still got the same error.

Same here - I have align to pixel grid switched off, I have the magnet thing switched off, preview bounds is off, align to pixel everywhere I could find it switched off and it STILL keeps changing it to a random number which is driving absolutely mental! I swear every time I update illustrator it just gets incrementally more of a pain in the ass to do basic stuff.
