Hello,

i am working with a large ai-File (Adobe illustrator Creative Cloud). The file is very large (>2GB). Nevertheless i did not have any problems with saving or working on that file - until the update i did last night.

I am working on a rather new AMD Ryzen 5  Lenovo Laptop, OS ist Windows 10.

The saving stops at 25% of saving.

I will try to delete some layers that i do not need.

a) Are there any other possibilities to speed up the savings process?

b) is it possible returning to the previous version of ai? How would i do this?

c) Do other members of the community have the same issues?

thanks for your help - i am rather desparate as i would need to finisch my work soon and this issue delays my work very much.

Hi. Try resetting the preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html

While you find a solution, maybe you can install the previous version (assuming the problem is the new version) to work with that file: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html#setting_illustrator_preferences
