Any history panel in illistrator?

I've been searching for a while today online and in the app itself but I can't seem to find any sort of "History" panel or a way to add one like Photoshop. I saw forums years ago saying it wasn't supported as a function yet, but figured by 2020 there's gotta be an option there. Please anyone let me know if theres a way! thank you

Version 24.2 has a version history. But that only covers saved versions of Cloud files. It is not a history of all commands used in the file.
