appearnace effects showing up pixelated

Whenever I apply an effect, like inner glow, the blur on the text shows up pixelated (as seen in the image) . The measurements for my document is in pixels. What can I do to fix it?

I figured it out!I was viewing the document at 1,000% zoom. All you have to do is resize all the arboards and artwork to be bigger. Then view it at 100% zoom.
