Hi,
I use Adobe Illustrator and XD daily to design User Interface mockups and prototypes. I currently need to switch to Mac OS for all my work due to client contract terms and I am unsure wheather to go for the M1 mac or Intel as the artboard count on Illustrator goes to around 20-30 sometimes which is where the Apple Silicon will shine without the loading screens every few seconds.
My query is by when can we expect atleast a beta version of these two apps since the development sprints might already be underway. Any estimate would help.
Thanks
I don't know of any public information on this for Illustrator. You could join the Illustrator beta:

That pre-release software license agreement is so intense though.

Since this post was made, it is now possible to download the M1 beta through the CC app with a normal CC license.

Hi Melvin,
Thanks for reaching out. Version of Illustrator that works natively on M1 chipset is a work in progress, however, the current version runs using Apple's Rosetta 2 technology. Please install version 25.1 on your machine and let us know if you get any issues with the application.
You may also refer to this help article for more information around known issues with M1 ( https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/apple-silicon-m1-chip.html ).
Regards,
Srishti
